The 10 states where families earn the most money are ALL states that have voted for Democrats in last several national elections. 10 out of 10.
Of the 10 states where American families earn the least, 9–9!–are Republican states.
Let’s take a look at the median household income in 2021 via Kaiser Family Foundation site, which uses Census data.

OK, so now let’s look at the 10 states where families earn the least, via Kaiser Family Foundation site, which replicates official Census data.
10 lowest-earning:
2021 income figures are perfectly representative of the long-term trends. 2022, 2023 figures won’t change anything. Republicans represent the absolute worst-performing economies. The ones that have decent wages are petro-states riding commodity booms and busts out of Beijing. Wyoming and the Dakotas have high wages every now and then when the cost of gas spikes, but they’re temporary, unstable, cyclical bumps.
